Sojobo, Dispelling Darkness – Mount Kurama – Black Mug
Sōjōbō, king of the tengu, sweeping away dark clouds with one stroke of his feather fan, on both sides of a glossy black ceramic mug.
In legend, one sweep of the tengu's fan can raise a storm or clear the sky.
Based on my own photographs of the carved and painted images of Sōjōbō found on Mount Kurama, from more than 80 visits to the mountain, where I lead group and private tours. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Printed on demand and shipped to you.
