The long-nosed great tengu in navy and ivory, with 大天狗 (daitengu, "great tengu") in bold kanji.
The daitengu are the most powerful of the tengu: long-nosed, red-faced lords of the mountains. The greatest of them all, Sojōbō, rules from Mount Kurama.
Based on my own photographs of the carved and painted images of Sōjōbō and the great tengu found on Mount Kurama, from more than 80 visits to the mountain, where I lead group and private tours. Printed on demand and shipped to you.
