Mikao Usui among the towering cedars of Mount Kurama, where Reiki began.

In Reiki tradition, Usui Sensei climbed Mount Kurama in 1922 for twenty-one days of fasting and meditation. At the end of it, the energy and understanding that became Reiki came to him on the mountain. This design honors the founder and the forest where it happened. Created as a tribute to Usui Sensei, not as official lineage merchandise.

The cedar forest is drawn from my own photographs from more than 80 visits to Mount Kurama, where I lead group and private tours. Printed on demand and shipped to you.

A Length

Begin at the collar's edge at the top of the t-shirt (the highest shoulder point) and extend the tape to the shirt's bottom.

B Width

Start the tape at the seam just below one sleeve and stretch it across to the seam below the other sleeve.
